NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett today unveiled a commemorative "I Voted" sticker that celebrates America's 250th anniversary and encourages Tennesseans to participate in the electoral process.
The special America 250 sticker, which will be available at polling locations during upcoming elections, features patriotic artwork recognizing the nation's semiquincentennial and serves as a reminder of the enduring importance of civic engagement.
“The 'I Voted' sticker is more than a keepsake—it is a badge of honor that proudly shows friends, family, and neighbors that you participated in one of our nation's most cherished traditions: voting,” said Secretary Hargett. “This year's special edition is especially meaningful as it commemorates America 250, celebrating 250 years of our nation's history while reminding us that the right to vote remains one of the greatest privileges of American citizenship."
Early voting runs from Friday, July 17 through Saturday, August 1. Election Day is Thursday, August. 6. Registered voters can find polling locations and hours, view sample ballots, check their voter registration status, and much more by downloading the free GoVoteTN app or visiting GoVoteTN.gov.
