Tennessee farm boy David Franklin Brock left behind his Van Buren County home and his sweetheart to undergo rigorous combat engineer training in January 1952. The USS W.A. Mann then spirited Brock a world away for service with the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea. The David Franklin Brock collection consists of over 100 images from David Brock, a Korean War combat engineer from Van Buren County, Tennessee. Brock joined the Second Infantry Division, known as the Tomahawk Warriors. This collection documents his time in Korea as well as his visits home.
