Please join the Tennessee State Library and Archives and Teaching with Primary Sources at MTSU for a summer institute for teachers on Alvin C. York and World War I. While focusing on Tennessee's social studies curriculum standards, participants will explore the experience of Alvin C. York and other Tennesseans during this period. Participants will analyze primary sources of the era and become familiar with the educational tools offered by TSLA and the Library of Congress.
