Third-Party Internet Posting Companies for Foreclosure Listings

Pursuant to T.C.A. § 35-5-101(f), a third-party internet posting company shall submit the company's root domain website address to the Publications Division of the Secretary of State's Office prior to conducting business pursuant to T.C.A. § 35-5-101(a)(2) regarding foreclosure postings online.

The third-party internet posting company is responsible for promptly notifying the Publications Division of the Secretary of State's Office of any change in the company's website address.

Note: A third-party internet posting company may be held liable for any damages resulting from the company's failure to comply with T.C.A. § 35-5-101(f).
