Administrative Register

The Tennessee Administrative Web site is a register of filings pursuant to the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act and is an official publication compiled and published electronically by the Secretary of State pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4 Chapter 5.

Wildlife Proclamations

Wildlife Proclamations contain seasons, creel, size and bag limits, and areas open to hunting and/or fishing. They also establish wildlife and/or public hunting areas and declare the manner and means of taking. Since Wildlife Proclamations are published in their entirety in the T.A.R., they are not published in the official compilation-Rules and Regulations of the State of Tennessee.

Rulemaking Hearing Notices

Rulemaking Hearings are official notice for a rulemaking hearing. Notices of rulemaking hearing are posted to the web site to give official notice for the time, date, and location of a hearing. The text of proposed rules being considered at the hearing is included in the notice. As a result of the hearing, a rulemaking hearing rule may be promulgated. The text of the rulemaking hearing rule may reflect changes resulting from the hearing. The rulemaking hearing rule becomes effective 90 days after filing with the Secretary of State.
