ARPA Grant Application Fillable Form
The Tennessee State Library and Archives is pleased to provide a grant opportunity to archives and museums across Tennessee using the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. This $100,000 grant is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
The ARPA Grant is available for archives, museums, and historical repositories and you are welcome to apply for any or all these categories
A local match is not required. Prioritization in funding will be given to organizations located within distressed counties.
Please Note: Requests may exceed the maximum but will be considered a lower priority.
The grant contract will begin on July 1, 2021, and end on May 31, 2022, which will allow you to use grant funds for purchases from July 1st forward, even though a fully signed contract will not be in place until later if your financial processes allow for that. Please be aware, however, no grant payments will be processed until the contract is in place.
Applications can be sent via e-mail or mail. We do not require original signatures to be submitted. Application submittal information can be found on page 17 of the application.
The deadline for applications is Friday, August 27, 2021.

Archives Development Grant Application Fillable Form
The Tennessee State Library and Archives is pleased to provide a grant opportunity to local archives across Tennessee for their archival needs. This grant is wholly provided by the Tennessee Secretary of State.
The 2022 Archives Development Grant will be available for the official county or municipal archives or a not-for-profit organization that has an official, legal authorization to maintain the records generated by a county or municipality to replace or purchase archival supplies to improve the storage conditions of archival collections, operations, or public accessibility. Applicants must show the archives/preservation of records as a line item in the county budget and have an active Public Records Commission that has met at least twice during the county’s fiscal year.

State Board Programming Regrant Application Fillable Form

The Tennessee Historical Records Advisory Board (THRAB) is pleased to provide a grant opportunity for improving the preservation of and access to Tennessee’s historical records, educate and train records custodians, and support archival program development and enhancement.
In fiscal year 2022, grants will be available up to $5,000 per institution and are available to any government entity or not-for-profit organization that holds permanent, historically valuable archival collections. There is no match requirement,
These funds are made available by the National Historical Publications & Records Commission.

THRAB will review and evaluate all eligible applications. THRAB may award all or none of the funds requested, offer partial or conditional funding, and encourage revision and/or resubmission. In determining whether an applicant shall receive a grant, THRAB will consider the following factors:
