The Tennessee Library for Accessible Books and Media (LABM), a division of the State Library and Archives, is a free library for any Tennessee resident unable to comfortably read standard print materials due to a visual, physical, or reading disability. Located within the Tennessee State Library and Archives in Nashville, LABM provides direct library service to qualifying Tennessee residents by sending Digital Talking Book Players and cartridges, braille, and large print materials through the U.S. Postal Service's Free Matter mailing service. To access thousands of accessible books and magazines, submit an application for service with the signature of a certifying authority. LABM is a regional library of the Library of Congress' National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) network.
