Rules and Regulations

As provided by T.C.A. Title 4 Chapter 5, the rules and regulations are the current and official rules and regulations presented as the official compilation-Rules and Regulations of the State of Tennessee and are inclusive of all amendments, repeals, and/or deletions.

Rulemaking Hearings are official notice for a rulemaking hearing. Notices of rulemaking hearing are posted to the web site to give official notice for the time, date, and location of a hearing. The text of proposed rules being considered at the hearing is included in the notice.
Emergency Rules are rules promulgated due to an immediate danger to the public health, safety or welfare. These rules are effective immediately on the date of filing and remain in effect thereafter for up to 180 days.
The Tennessee Administrative Web site is a register of filings pursuant to the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act and is an official publication compiled and published electronically by the Secretary of State pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4 Chapter 5.
