In primary elections for Governor, U.S. Senate, and U.S. House of Representatives, you must file the original form with the Tennessee Coordinator of Elections. In general elections for Governor, U.S. Senate, and U.S. House of Representatives, you must file an original form in each county where you want your write-in votes counted. If you are running for an office in a district with multiple counties, you must file an original form in each county within the district where you want your write-in votes counted. For every other election and office, you must file the original form in the county where you seek election or party nomination. You cannot fax or email the form. (Candidates who lost in the primary election may not have write-in votes counted in the general election for the same office.)
