Voters with a print disability may request an accessible ballot that can be sent to the voter electronically or by mail.

"Print disability" means a disability that interferes with the person's ability to effectively read, write, or use printed materials, and includes blindness, low vision, and physical disabilities, such as paralysis, that interfere with such abilities.

"Low vision" means a partial or total loss of sight that is not correctible with prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses

The application must be by the voter, under penalty of perjury, verifying that the information on the application is true and correct, that the voter is eligible to vote absentee by mail in the respective election for which the application is submitted, and that the voter has a print disability that prevents them from reading or marking an absentee by-mail paper ballot.

You can request your ballot be sent to you by mail or electronically. Be sure to mark your preference on the application.

Electronic or digital signatures are not permitted.

You can submit your written request for an absentee ballot by mail, fax, or e-mail. You must submit a written request to your local county election commission office by the seventh day before Election Day. Using the Print Disability Absentee Ballot Request form will ensure all required information is included with your request.

Return Your Ballot

Once you have received your ballot, follow the instructions provided with your ballot to vote your ballot and return the ballot to your local county election commission office.

You must mail your ballot in time for your county election commission to receive it no later than the close of polls on Election Day.

You must return your ballot by mail (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.). Hand delivery or handing it to a poll worker during early voting or on Election Day is not permitted.
