GoVoteTN: Information for Voters

Find when to vote and where to vote today. All polls close at 8 p.m. EDT / 7 p.m. CDT. If you are in line at the time the polls close, you will be allowed to vote. 

The Secretary of State's Text to Report Voter Fraud system provides Tennesseans with a convenient way to alert the Division of Elections about suspected voter fraud. Voters can also use the system to report Election Day issues or share feedback about their voting experience, whether positive or negative. Call the hotline at 1-877-850-4959 or text TN to 45995.

Apply to become a poll worker today or learn more about becoming a Tennessee election hero. Poll workers get paid for working during early voting, on Election Day, and attending any required training sessions. 

Tennesseans voting early or on Election Day must bring valid photo identification with them to the polls. A driver's license or photo ID issued by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, by Tennessee state government or by the federal government are acceptable even if they are expired. College student IDs are not acceptable.
