Obtaining an NHPRC Grant Through THRAB

In order to participate in the grants program of the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC), each state is required to have an active state historical records advisory board.

Applicants should submit proposals to the THRAB coordinator who in turn will schedule a review by the Board. As a result of this screening process, some proposals may require revision prior to submission to the NHPRC. Categories and submission deadlines for Board review may be found at the NHPRC web site.
